Dinosaur Love
A tale of unrequited love emerges
Out of 145 million BC
To reveal a lonely T-Rex
As unhappy as a T-Rex can be
”I just cannot find a male T-Rex
who can take on some of my chores
from this meager set of specimens
In my world of dinosaurs!”
”But fear not,” she tells her T-Rex son.
Relax, and please don’t fret.
A husband for me and a daddy for you
Is a dino we both will get.”
So, the T-Rex mom and her T-Rex son
Search Jurassic far and wide
Until they find a dinosaur
Who’s tickled to be by their side.
“But he’s too big!” the family cried
At the brachiosaurus, down on his knee,
As he proposes to his toothy bride
Wishing love is all she can see…
So they marry and oh, what a party they have!
But they’re joyful a little too soon
As the T-Rex mom and her T-Rex son
Must live with a vegetarian groom.
