Are We Going
To Be Missed?
Are we going to be missed
When God takes us away,
As we dare to forget all the things we should say?
To express all the feelings to the people we love,
To laugh for no reason,
And kiss just because.
It’s all about hands that hold more than our phones,
The hugs that we crave when we feel all alone,
The comfort of silence,
The whispers we share,
Without fear of rejection, but freedom to care.
It’s all about us when we slow down our pace,
And say more than “hello” to an unfriendly face.
Give thanks, rejoice, and remember to play.
Do all that you would, were this your last day.
